copper-pipeAt Eckhardt Steel & Alloys, we carry a full inventory of copper nickel pipe also known as cupro nickel, C70600 (90/10) andC71500 (70/30) in pipe form. Our inventory of ASTM B466/ASME SB466 is composed of C706 in SCH 40 & 80, along with Class 200, in addition to C715 in SCH 80. The C706 Copper Nickel pipes are either annealed, light drawn or hard drawn whereas the C715 pipes are annealed or hard drawn.

Copper Nickel pipes are commonly used in seawater piping due to its complete resistance to barnacles and other marine organisms. Its resistance makes seawater fire fighting systems, desalination water systems, and similar applications much more reliable.The two common Seamless Copper-nickel alloys are Alloy 706 (C76000 – 10% nickel) and Alloy 710 (C71000 – 20% nickel).Eckhardt Steel & Alloys stocks Alloy 706 only; Alloy 710as well as other CuNi alloysare available as a special order.

Eckhardt Steel Steel Inc offers a wide range of Seamless copper tubes. These tubes are supplied in both Hard Drawn Straight Length & Bright annealed Pancake Coils. These tubes are manufactured as per International and National Standards required by client.

All tubes are electronically tested by Eddy Current method, as per the requirements of ASTM E 243.Eckhardt Steel’s product are 100% carbon free. All tubes are cleaned and sample tested to meet the residual requirements as specified by the codes at 0.038g/m2 (0.35g/ft2).Coils are normally furnished in ‘O60’ temper and straight lengths in H58 temper.100% RoHS Compliance.
